Inaugurated in 1977, Pompidou museum hosts the most important modern art collection in Europe. In 1969 George Pompidou, great collector and a lover of contemporary art decided to give a new image to a very poor area by creating a village inside a village. It has the richest collection worldwide of Kandinsky, Brancusi, Delaunay, Duchamp, Giacometti, Picasso, Niki de Saint Phalle among others. In this tour you will discover the fifth floor dedicated to modern art dating from the beginning of the 20th century to 1960, from fauvism to the New Realism.
